Benefits of Quitting Smoking

If you think quitting smoking is not a very good idea because the damage is already done, then you are WRONG! Think of the fact that your kids will have a better example, that they will not be facing the dangers of second hand smoking, that you would be able to spend quality time with them because you do not tire on vacations, or while teaching them baseball. Further, your friends and family will not find your company offensive, since you do not reek of smoke.

Think of the fact that you will be able to enjoy the blessings of life: the good food, the spring flowers, the smell of a newly bathed baby, the cologne your wife uses...

Think of the fact that you will not have to run to the corner drug store in the rain, because you are out of cigarettes, and that you will be saving all that money that you can now save for a better vacation, for gifts for friends, on books and clothes, on charities etc.

Think of how painless your life is without the racking cough, of how you can enjoy the good time your friends are having because there are no interruptions because of it.

Think of the clean ashtrays, unstained teeth, fresh smelling clothes, and the confidence they would give to you.

Think of how your life would change for the better, how your relationships will get stronger, how you will suddenly be more aware and perceptive of the good things in your life… Think of your parents and spouses and kids and friends...
